- Different web browsers track, share and sell some of your personal data. Research what your comfortable with i.e. google, duckduckgo, firefox etc.
- Use a password manager to securely store and generate new strong passwords.

- system hardening refers to keeping your patches updated and closing / deleting all aps and ports that are not used. Anything opened on your machine is a potential entry point for a threat actor.
- Use multifactor authentication for access to your credit cards and bank accounts as they are more secure than passwords alone.
